History and a love of old things usually go hand in hand – especially as we start looking for the story behind the items we collect.
So it’s not surprising that a woman with a love of space history also loves mid century modern.
This week, it’s my pleasure to introduce you to the woman behind Vintage Space Amy Shira Teitel.
He’s the first Australian musician since the 1950’s to release a 78 gramophone record.
He embraced his love of vintage fashion when he was still in high school.
He’s got a collection of over 5 thousand 500 gramophone records.
And he even has his own orchestra!
“If you have a head you can wear a hat”.
It’s not surprising that this sentence came out of the mouth of a passionate milliner.
Someone who can remember being enamored with a vintage hat when she was 8 years old.

You’ve already met some of the pinups taking part, Miss Lexi Heart and Miss Emerald Elle.
But time now to meet the reigning champion.

I love looking at real estate.
The more out of my budget the better.
I don’t know if it’s getting a sense of how others live or being able to dream of a time (maybe, hopefully) that a house could be mine.
Of course most of my dream real estate hunting ends up with my focussing on mid-century modern homes from around the world. So I was pretty pleased to meet Marco Guagliardo from Mid-Century Home.
