Could the vintage community be the secret to stamping out online trolls with positivity?
This is the question one incredible pinup from Perth in Australia is asking as she combines her love of vintage with her academic career.

Growing up during the Rockabilly revival in the 1980’s Kirsty Wallett, aka France Flathead , was surrounded by vintage cars, fashion and music.
So it’s not surprising that as an adult she found herself living a vintage life.
But even still, like so many of us, it has been an interesting journey.

This week we are running away and joining the circus!
What is it about that big top, the acrobats, trapeze artists and clowns that inspire us to dream of a life travelling the world performing.
But what if you made the dream a reality?
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Adele La Belle!
I first found Melanie on instagram and was instantly drawn to her pinup style and posts about her sweet pooch Archie.
But when I started learning more about her (in a completely non creepy podcast research kind of way) a whole world opened up around me.
What I love about meeting people from around the world with a love of vintage is the communities they belong to.
Sometimes those communities are online, via social media, they can be at yearly events and festivals or living right next door.
Wherever they are the community the develops around our vintage passions are strong and supportive and this weeks episode is a shining example of that!
